Facilities

Members of the Department of Drug and Natural Product Synthesis is granted access to:

• Bruker Avance DPX-200 NMR spectrometer (200 MHz, open access) with sample changer (routine ¹H and ¹³C NMR measurements)
• Varian UnityPlus 300 NMR spectrometer (300 MHz; advanced ¹H and ¹³C NMR measurements)
• Bruker Avance 500 NMR spectrometer (500 MHz; advanced ¹H, ¹³C, ¹⁵N, ¹⁹F and ³¹P NMR measurements)
• high-performance micro-wave reactor (Synthos 3000)
• in-house MS (EI) service on a Shimadzu GP 1000
• IR spectrometers (Perkin-Elmer FTIR 1605 and Perkin-Elmer FTIR spectrum 1000 spectrometer) (in collaboration with the department of medicinal/pharmaceutical chemistry)
• hrMS at the faculty of chemistry (EI) or at the department of pharmacognosy (ESI)
• elemental analysis at the microanalytical laboratory (faculty of chemistry)
• leading databases such as Chemical Abtracts via SciFinder Scholar, Beilstein Crossfire, ISI Web of Knowledge, and Scopus
• access to key literature (print and online)
